Why should I buy a YOUNfit bag instead of a cheaper gym bag?

Why not just use a duffel and a plastic bag for sweaty clothes?

But that plastic bag is hard to clean, so it usually gets thrown away, and the day you forget a fresh one, everything mixes into a damp, smelly, sometimes permanently ruined jumble. YOUNfit's built-in washable partition is always there, never needs replacing, and keeps wet and dry apart every single time.
How does a YOUNfit beat the gym-bag smell?
Smell builds up when damp kit sits against a bag’s lining day after day. In a YOUNfit, wet or sweaty gear only ever touches the partition — a sealed insert custom-moulded to the bag that lifts out and rinses clean with soap and water. The bag itself stays dry, so the odour never gets the chance to settle in.
What exactly is the partition, and how does it work?
It's a removable divider that's custom-moulded to fit your bag. It splits the interior into a wet/dry zone, so sweaty clothes, wet swimwear or muddy shoes stay completely isolated from your clean kit, laptop and documents. It's the idea YOUNfit was built on back in 2010, and it's in every bag we make.
How do I clean the partition?
Lift it out and wash it by hand with a little soap and water, then let it air-dry and slot it back in. Skip the washing machine and dishwasher — a quick hand-wash is all it needs. No more tossing out smelly plastic bags.
How do I care for the bag and the leather?
The tough vegan leather body is built to take a daily beating and wipes clean easily. The vegan leather handles and wallet are salt-, UV- and scratch-resistant — a little soap and a soft brush bring them back to looking new, and they age beautifully over time.
Is the leather real or vegan?
It's premium vegan leather — salt-resistant, UV-resistant and scratchproof. You get the look and durability of fine leather, with no animal products.
How long does a YOUNfit bag last, and can it be repaired?
With reinforced stitching and materials chosen to last, most YOUNfit bags are used for 10 years or more. And when life happens, we repair and refresh your bag rather than replace it. Most repairs are free; if new materials are needed, it's usually around AED 183 (about USD 50), plus shipping. Just email us at sales@younfit.com and we'll take it from there.
Which size should I choose?
- Original Duffel / Leather Handle Duffel — Medium (48 × 26 × 26 cm, ~27 L) for gym sessions and weekend trips; Large (56 × 30 × 30 cm, ~40 L) for longer stays.
- Tote — Mini (25 × 25 × 12 cm, ~7.5 L) for quick gym or pool runs; Medium (40 × 17 × 28 cm, ~19 L) and Large (45 × 20 × 30 cm, ~27 L), both with a dedicated laptop section.
- Backpack — Medium (32 × 28 × 16 cm, ~14 L) fits an iPad or compact notebook; Large (38 × 30 × 19 cm, ~22 L) fits a 13-inch laptop.
Will it fit my laptop?
Yes, if you pick the right bag. Only the Tote and the Backpack have a laptop section: the Tote in Medium and Large has a dedicated laptop partition, the Backpack Medium fits an iPad or compact notebook, and the Backpack Large fits a 13-inch laptop — all kept safely away from your wet gear. The duffels don't have a laptop compartment, so reach for a Tote or Backpack if you're carrying a device.
Can I take a YOUNfit as carry-on luggage?
Yes — the Medium duffel (48 × 26 × 26 cm) fits most airline cabin allowances, and the Backpack and Tote slide under the seat. The partition keeps a wet swimsuit or worn gym kit sealed away from your packed clothes, so one bag covers the whole trip. Do check your airline’s limits before you fly — allowances vary.
Is YOUNfit only for the gym, or also for swimming, cycling and triathlon?
It's built for anyone juggling active days. The wet/dry partition is ideal for damp swimwear after the pool, muddy shoes after a ride, or a full triathlon kit — keep the wet stuff sealed off from your clean clothes and electronics. Pair any bag with our Clear Accessory Pouches to isolate flip-flops, wet kit and toiletries.
Can I personalise my bag?
Yes. Add embroidered initials or your name (up to 12 characters) on the shoulder pad, or a custom logo patch on the front. Want a custom colour or a fully bespoke design? How long until my order ships?
Every bag is handcrafted to order in our Dubai workshop and ships within 6 days. Personalised pieces can take a little longer — we confirm timing when you order.
How can I pay?
Checkout accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Prices are shown in your local currency for reference, and payment is processed in UAE dirhams (AED).
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide — across the GCC, MENA, Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania. Within the UAE, shipping is free on orders over AED 200 (about USD 54); below that it's AED 25 (about USD 7). Internationally, shipping is free on orders over AED 700 (about USD 191); below that it's AED 100 (about USD 27).
What is your return, exchange and refund policy?
Standard items can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery, as long as they're unused and in their original packaging — contact us first at sales@younfit.com and we'll walk you through it (return shipping is at your cost unless the error is ours). Personalised and custom items can't be returned or exchanged unless they arrive with a defect. If anything arrives defective, damaged or wrong, report it within 7 days with clear photos and we'll arrange a replacement, refund or store credit — at our cost. Refunds go to your original payment method.
